The Republic of Ireland will be without captain Seamus Coleman for their upcoming Nations League matches against Finland and England. Coleman, who has been struggling with a foot injury since September's defeat to England, has only appeared twice for Everton this season. Sean Dyche recently confirmed that the 36-year-old is also dealing with a minor hamstring issue.
Norwich City's Shane Duffy and Celtic's Adam Idah have also withdrawn from Heimir Hallgrimsson's squad due to injuries, despite playing for their clubs over the weekend. Idah, who joined Celtic permanently after a successful loan spell, has scored five goals in 15 appearances under Brendan Rodgers this season.

In response to these withdrawals, Ryan Manning from Southampton, Jake O'Brien from Everton, and Wolves' Matt Doherty have been called up to join the squad. Doherty was previously omitted from the team for their October fixtures but now returns to bolster the lineup.
Hallgrimsson's team will face Finland at the Aviva Stadium on Thursday. They aim to improve their Nations League record, having won just three of their 20 games in the competition so far. Only Iceland, San Marino, Andorra, and Liechtenstein have lower win percentages.
Following the match against Finland, Ireland will travel to Wembley to play England four days later. This game marks Lee Carsley's final match as interim manager before Thomas Tuchel takes over in the new year.
The full Republic of Ireland squad includes goalkeepers Caoimhin Kelleher (Liverpool), Mark Travers (Bournemouth), and Max O'Leary (Bristol City). Defenders are Matt Doherty (Wolves), Dara O'Shea (Ipswich Town), Nathan Collins (Brentford), Ryan Manning (Southampton), Mark McGuinness (Luton Town), Liam Scales (Celtic), Jake O'Brien (Everton), and Callum O'Dowda (Cardiff City).
The midfield features Josh Cullen (Burnley), Jason Knight (Bristol City), Jayson Molumby (West Bromwich Albion), Finn Azaz (Middlesbrough), and Andy Moran (Stoke City on loan from Brighton). Forwards include Evan Ferguson (Brighton), Tom Cannon (Stoke City on loan from Leicester City), Troy Parrott (AZ Alkmaar), Festy Ebosele (Watford on loan from Udinese), Kasey McAteer (Leicester City), Sammie Szmodics (Ipswich Town), and Mikey Johnston (West Brom).
