Serie A game week 6: Roundup, results

Bengaluru, Sep 26: 8 out 10 Serie A matches were played over this weekend. All the big teams of the league have registered a win their respective matches except AS Roma who lost their tie against Torino 1-3.

Defending champions, Juventus kick-started the game week with 1-0 win over Palermo. It was a below par performance by champions who won courtesy an own goal scored by opponent's Edoardo Goldaniga.

The biggest shock of the game week was giants AS Roma's defeat at the hands of Torino, 3-1. Roma are currently at the 4th position in the league table with 10 points.

In other important matches, Napoli won 2-0 against Cheiveo, Lazio defeated Empoli 2-0. The two Milan rivals drew their respective matches.

Inter Milan were held for 1-1 draw by Bologna and AC Milan drew 0-0 against Fiorentina.
