Bengaluru, April 2: Serie A game week 30 kicked off on Saturday (April 1) with fourth-placed side Lazio beating Sassuolo away from home.

Domenico Berardi scored the opening goal for Sassuolo. Ciro Immobile equalised for the away side. An unfortunate own goal scored by Consigli helped Lazio full three points from the clash.

In another clash second-placed AS Roma comfortably defeated Empoli 2-0 to keep the pressure on leaguers Juventus.

Edin Dzeko scored an important brace to guide his team to an easy win.

On Sunday (April 2) giants AC Milan played out a disappointing 1-1 draw with Pescara. Juventus and Napoli too played a 1-1 draw spicing up the title race somewhat.
