Sesa Football Academy facile 4-0 win over Raia Sporting

Margao, Sep 20 (UNI) New entrants Sesa Football Academy scored an emphatic 4-0 win over Raia Sporting to gain full points in the GFA Vodafone Football league match being played at Nehru stadium Fatorda, today.

Sesa improved their showing specially in the second half, pumping three goals in quick sucession, at half time they were leading by 1-0.

Sesa shot into the lead as early as in the 5th minute of the first half through Israel Grung off a well measured pass received from Marcus Mascarenhas and maintained the lead till half time.

After cross over, Sesa played with renewed vigour and increased their lead in the 72nd minute through Agnelo Monteiro with his solo efforts, who collected the ball from the left flank and run down with the ball whose left foot found the net to make it 2-0.

Inspired by two goals lead, Sesa continued to attack and and further consolidated their lead in the 78th minute through Savio Carneiro. When Gabriel Fernandes unleashed a shot hit the goal post and rebounded towards Savio, who pounced upon the opportunity and shot into the net to make it 3-0.

Marcus Mascarehas completed the tally in the 80th minute and won the match comfortably with 4-0.

With this win Sesa and Raia Sporting tied with 6 points from two wins and three defeats each from five outings.
