NorthEast United secured their spot in the Durand Cup 2024 final with a dominant 3-0 victory over Shillong Lajong in the semi-final. The match, held at Shillong, saw NorthEast United's clinical performance overpower a determined but ultimately outmatched Shillong Lajong side.

The final whistle confirmed NorthEast United's place in the Durand Cup final, where they will await the winner of the second semi-final between Mohun Bagan and Bengaluru FC.
