Women's T20 World Cup: Sri Lanka vs Australia women's Dream11 prediction SL-W vs AU-W Sri Lanka will take on Australia in group B on the Women's T20 World Cup at St. George's Park in Port Elizabeth on Thursday.

Both sides are currently locked on four points each at the top with two consecutive wins for both while Australia lead group B by the virtue of a superior run rate. The result in the game could also virtually seal the semifinal berth for the winner.

Sri Lanka women injury update, key players

Sri Lanka heads into the crucial game with no major injury concerns with both their openers finding form. Skipper Chamari Athapaththu scored 68 against South Africa in the opening encounter to help the Islanders score a match-winning 129/4 while Harshitha Samarawickrama scored 50-ball 69 to help Sri lanka chase down 127 against Bangladesh.

Athapaththu, notably, showed her skills with the ball too as she picked two wickets against Bangladesh.

No. 3 Vishmi Gunaratne scored a 35 against South Africa and was drafted into the Lankan senior team after the 17-year-old batter gave a string of good performances in the U-19 T20 World Cup.

Veteran batter Nilakshi de Silva showed some form during the warm-ups and that reflected in the chase against Bangladesh as she scored 41* while stitching an important stand with Samarawickrama.

Among Sri Lanka bowlers, 36-year-old off-spinner Oshadi Ranasinghe picked five wickets in the two games, and on Thursday all her experienced will be put to use as they take on the mighty Australian batting.

She will expect some help from Inoka Ranaweera, who took four wickets so far with three-for against South Africa. Ranaweera has really enjoyed bowling in South Africa as the 36-year-old southpaw spinner took as many wickets across two warm-up matches as well.

Apart from them, left-arm slow bowler Sugandika Kumari picked tw wickets in the first game but failed to make an impact against Bangladesh.

Australia women's injury updates, key players

No injuries were reported from the Australian camp either as the five-time champions have gained their confidence back to go all the way in the tournament after a shock loss to Ireland in the warm-ups.

The star-studded side has made light work of their rivals -- namely Bangladesh and New Zealand -- in the first two group games and will like to confirm their spot in the semis as quickly as possible with another big win.

Top-order batters Alyssa Healy and Meg Lanning look certain to score runs with the way they have been batting in the recent past, including the two group games. However, there have been question marks on the forms of opener Beth Mooney, who scored a duck and then 2 runs in group B matches.

The dominance of the Aussie top-order allow No. 5 Ellyse Perry to bat just once and she made the most of it by playing 40-odd innings. No. 4 Ashleigh Gardner didn't get to show much either as she got to score a 20-ball 19* against Bangladesh in a comfortable chase.

Gardner, however, did the job with the ball as she retained a 5/12 to dismantle New Zealand in the first game and then bowled a 1/17 in four overs against Bangladesh.

Pacer Megan Schutt has been sharp as well with five wickets in the last three games while teen pacer Darcie Brown has picked three wickets in the two group games so far after bowling 4/17 against India in the warm-ups.

Georgia Wareham brought her form from the domestic circuit to the World Cup as well with the leg-spinner bowling 3/20 against Bangladesh.

The stadium in the past has seen scores of over 200 runs in the past but it was in use during the recently-concluded SA20, where the team batting second won three out of five times while overall history suggests batting first wins more.

The wicket is considered a balanced one with the movement for seam bowlers, assisting the fast bowlers of Australia.
