Portugal are locking horns against Slovakia in the Euro 2024 Qualification Group J encounter on Friday (September 8). It is an away match for Cristiano Ronaldo and co. as they look to seal their berth for the continental tournament next year.
Portugal are currently sitting at the top of Group J with 12 points after four matches, while Slovakia are just beneath them with 10 points after four matches. Cristiano Ronaldo's country are one of the three teams in this qualification phase who have yet to concede a goal, with France and Hungary being the other teams.

The full-time whistle blows and Portugal's stellar run continues. Five wins in five matches now and they are yet to concede a goal. Bruno Fernandes scored the solitary goal of the match as Portugal win 1-0 against Slovakia in Bratislava.

Nelson Semedo finds Cristiano Ronaldo but the ball is taken away and cleared as the Portugal player was trying to get his shot away.
Bruno Fernandes was almost found there. The Man United player was inches away from the pass and had he picked the ball there, he would have been through on goal.

Slovakia got close there again, but again a last-ditch defensive tackle saved Portugal. The home side is getting ever closer to an equalizer.
Decent possession for Slovakia and then Duda is fouled by Joao Palhinha. The ball from Haraslin was superb from the free kick, but Milan Skriniar's header is over. The defender should have kept that on target.
Another effort from Cristiano Ronaldo but the shot goes well wide in the end. The Al Nassr player is annoyed with himself.

He comes into his international stint with Al-Nassr, boasting an impressive score of six goals from his first four league games this season, and four assists to his name.
