Ivan Juric's debut as Southampton's Premier League manager ended in disappointment with a 1-0 defeat to West Ham at St Mary's. Despite starting brightly, West Ham saw Southampton dominate the first half. The match's only goal came just before the hour mark. Jarrod Bowen scored from close range after Niclas Fullkrug flicked the ball on. This victory extended West Ham's unbeaten run to four league games, moving them above Manchester United into 13th place. Meanwhile, Southampton remains at the bottom of the table.
