Daniel Peretz Signs Permanent Contract With Southampton From Bayern Munich
Southampton confirm that goalkeeper Daniel Peretz joins on a permanent transfer from Bayern Munich after a strong loan spell, with the club also securing striker Cyle Larin long term as they prepare another push for promotion from the Championship.
Peretz, 25, signs a four-year contract with Southampton, who compete in the Championship and reached the 2025-26 FA Cup semi-final before removal from the play-off final, following a disciplinary case involving spying on semi-final opponents Middlesbrough.

The Israel international originally spent the first half of the 2025-26 season on loan at Hamburg from Bayern Munich, featuring only twice in the DFB-Pokal, before switching to Southampton in January on a short-term agreement that quickly reshaped the club’s goalkeeping situation.
After Peretz made a Championship debut for Southampton, only Ivor Pandur with 75 saves, Egil Selvik with 65, and Radek Vitek also with 65 registered more stops than Peretz, who produced 64 saves and kept eight clean sheets as Southampton secured a place in the play-off positions.
"Im super excited, Peretz told the club website.
"For the last few months, this was my home, and we had so many good times, and also some tense times, but even in the last few weeks, with how we stayed together, you could really feel this home environment. That was, for me, the deciding factor. Yes, it is my dream to play in the Premier League and on the highest stages in the world, but a bigger dream for me is to be there with Southampton. I really believe that we can be there and achieve that."
Southampton also state that 31-year-old forward Cyle Larin has completed a permanent move after an initial loan from Mallorca, strengthening the squad spine alongside Peretz as the club looks to build on a season that mixed cup progress with play-off disappointment.
