The whistle blows for Half Time and Spain has annihilated Croatia in the first 45 minutes. Goals from Alvaro Morata, Fabian Ruiz and Dani Carvajal have given Spain a massive advantage in this Group B match. Croatia had the better of the ball but the scoreline is emphatic for Spain.
Spain's performance in the major competitions have dipped since their Euro triumph in 2012. They won the Euros twice in 2008 and 2012, and also won the FIFA World Cup in 2010. Luis de la Fuente is expected to put Unai Simon on goal, while Nacho Fernandez and Aymeric Laporte may be at the centre of defense. Rodri, and Pedri are going to be part of the midfield. Alvaro Morata, who had a decent season with Atletico Madrid, is expected to lead the line for La Roja.
Josko Gvardiol will be a key figure in the Croatia defense while Mateo Kovacic and Luka Modric are expected to marshall the midfield. Both Kovacic and Modric had decent outings for their clubs last season, with the latter winning the LaLiga and UEFA Champions League as well. Ante Budimir is set to be their sole striker whereas Andrej Kramaric and Lovro Majer may start in the wings.
