Indian football team captain Sunil Chhetri's pregnant wife Sonam Battacharya is reportedly admitted in a private hosiptal in Bengaluru due to dengue. The report from ABP Live added that Sonam's oxygen saturation level had dropped, but she is recovering now.
According to ABP Bengali, Chhetri's wife has been hospitalized after contracting dengue fever and her oxygen saturation level had dropped significantly low, but she is fine now. Bengaluru has seen a rise in dengue cases since last month.

The report also added that Chhetri took time off from national duty to be with his wife. Indian football team head coach Igor Stimac recently accepted skipper Chhetri's request to skip the upcoming King's Cup, which reportedly coincides with his wife's due date.
Chhetri had announced that he and his wife were expecting a baby with a celebration during the SAFF Championship in June. King's Cup is scheduled to be played from September 7-10 in Thailand, which coincides with the expected delivery date of his first child.
So, Chhetri had requested to be left out of the squad for next month's tournament to be by the side of his wife. "I would request the coach not to include me in the King's Cup squad," Chhetri said in an interview. "I am really looking forward to being a father. I would like to stay back as the date is very close to the delivery date."
These reports of Chhetri's wife being hospitalized with dengue is not verified. In fact, Chhetri also was part of an event at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru on Monday (August 7).
The Indian football team captain Chhetri was joined by star cricketer KL Rahul and Kolkata Knight Riders CEO Venky Mysore, who met and interacted with the participants of a high-performance level 3 coach certificate course at the NCA.
The BCCI took to social media to share pictures from the sessions where these three spoke about the various dimensions of high-performance coaching after which the participants engaged in leadership-building activities.
