Suvarna to officiate in Iraq-Korea Olympic football qualifier

Mumbai, Sep 5 (UNI) The Federation International De Football Association (FIFA) has appointed Madhav Suvarna as the match referee and the referee assessor for the men's Olympic qualifying tie between Iraq and Korea to be played at Doha, Qatar on September 12.

Suvarna has also been appointed as the match commissioner for the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions league quarter final second leg match between Jeonbuk Hyundai of Korea and Urawa Red Diamonds of Japan, a release issued here today stated.

The AFC Champions League quarterfinal will be played in Jeonju in Korea on September 26, the release added.
