Wojciech Szczesny has departed Juventus after mutually agreeing to terminate his contract, the Serie A club announced on Wednesday. The 34-year-old goalkeeper, who had one year remaining on his contract, is now a free agent.
Szczesny joined Juventus in July 2017 and made 252 appearances for the club, achieving 103 clean sheets across all competitions. During his tenure, he secured three Serie A titles and three Coppa Italia trophies.

In a statement, Juventus expressed their gratitude: "In an instant, Tek conquered the Juventus fans of the world and we are sure that we will all always carry in our hearts the man and the professional who wore our jersey with pride and commitment." They added, "Many memories made together! All the best for the future, @13Szczesny13!"
Szczesny began his career at Arsenal, joining their academy at age 15 in 2006. He had loan spells at Brentford and Roma before signing with Juventus. His time at Juve was marked by significant achievements and memorable moments.
Juventus recently signed Michele Di Gregorio from Monza in July. Italian media have speculated that Szczesny might move to Monza or join Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League.
As Szczesny moves on from Juventus, he leaves behind a legacy of dedication and success. His contributions to the club will be remembered by fans and teammates alike.
