Tajik coach fined by AFC

Hyderabad, Aug 9 (UNI) Tajikistan coach Pulod Kodirov was slapped a 1000 dollar fine by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) today for skipping an official post match press conference after the Group A match against India on August 1 in the ongoing AFC Challenge Cup.

The AFC Disciplinary Committee, after hearing Kodirov, decided to fine him as per the provision under Article 16 of the tournament code of conduct.

The Tajik has no right to appeal against the decision as the fine imposed is less than 5000 dollars.
