Terry set to return for Chelsea

By Staff

Cobham( England) Nov 24: Chelsea captain John Terry is set to make his return from injury against Derby County in the Premier League tomorrow, according to coach Avram Grant.

A knee injury has ruled Terry out of the last seven games for his club and the final matches of England's unsuccessful bid to qualify for Euro 2008.

But the England captain has resumed full training this week and Grant is confident he will be ready to play at Pride Park.

Grant told reporters at the team's training ground on Friday: ''We will see if John is ready to play from training today, but I think he can play tomorrow.'' Striker Didier Drogba is rated as doubtful for the game after picking up a knee injury playing for the Ivory Coast against Qatar in a friendly international in Doha.

Czech goalkeeper Petr Cech, Germany midfielder Michael Ballack and Portuguese defenders Paulo Ferreira and Ricardo Carvalho are all ruled out of the game through injury.
