The Best FIFA Football Awards Winners: Full List of Awardees Since 2016

The Best FIFA Football Awards is presented annually by the sport's governing body, FIFA, recognising the performance in the previous year across international and club football.
The awards ceremony is an attempt to revive the FIFA World Player Gala, which was presented throughout 1991-2009. The Best FIFA Football Awards was first held in 2017, honouring achievements from the year 2016.
The Best FIFA Football Awards marked a new era in crowning the outstanding figures in world football by getting fans involved more than ever before with their votes helping to crown the best players and coaches in men's and women's football.
The Best FIFA Football Awards also saw the FIFA Fan Award given out for the first time to honour outstanding gestures from supporters.
A total of 9 categories are being presented with an award based on their performances in the preceding year. Apart from the 9 awards, a special award for an outstanding career achievement and the two FIFAPro best 11 teams also are announced during the ceremony.
