Jamshedpur FC are gearing up for a crucial clash against East Bengal FC at the JRD Tata Sports Complex on October 5 and defender Pratik Choudhary is confident that the team will bounce back from its recent narrow defeat against Odisha FC.
As the Men of Steel aim to secure their third win of the season, Choudhary stressed the importance of staying focused against a struggling but dangerous East Bengal side.

"We know East Bengal haven't had the best start, but they have some top players who can hurt us if we're not at our best. We have to stay focused on our game plan and do our jobs well for the entire match to get a positive result," he said.
Jamshedpur currently sits in third place on the ISL table, having won two of their first three matches, but their defense has been a concern, conceding five goals in just three games. Choudhary, however, remains optimistic, noting that the team is working hard to address their mistakes.
"This is something we need to improve both individually and as a defensive unit. But the positive is that, despite conceding, we've managed to come back and win the first two games. We're working on correcting those errors and ensuring we don't repeat the same mistakes," he said.
He believes his partnership with Nigerian defender Stephen Eze will be crucial. "He's a beast. His communication and defensive awareness are top-level, which makes it easier for me to play alongside him. We're constantly trying to improve, and that reflects in our performances."
Looking ahead to the match, Choudhary stressed the importance of maintaining momentum. "It's too early to focus on the table, but a win against East Bengal would definitely boost the team's confidence and morale."
"We want full support of our fans as they have helped us to win our first home game. I urge them to be back us again tomorrow, and we'll do our best to win for them."
