Three clubs where Xavi can join after leaving Barcelona

Barcelona manager Xavi has announced that he will leave the club after the conclusion of this season.

The Spanish legend, who played over 500 matches for the Cules, has been at the helm since November 2021 but will leave the duties after this season.

The 44-year-old has spoken about the difficulties of his job and will have to seek new pastures after his departure from the Spanish giants.

Despite winning the La Liga last season, Xavi has found himself under pressure for Barcelona's disappointing start in this one. The Cules are sitting 4th in the table and are eight points behind league leaders Girona.

But as Xavi's time at Barcelona comes to an end, there are suitors for him across Europe. Here are three possible destinations for Xavi that he can join after leaving Barcelona-

Liverpool

Liverpool have a managerial vacancy as Jurgen Klopp is set to leave them at the end of the season. Xavi's profile fits the Reds perfectly as his style of football can bring further success to the club.

Also, after the La Liga success, the Spaniard would be interested in replicating the same in the Premier League. And with a club such as Liverpool, the job profile can be an enticing one for Xavi. Hence don't be surprised if you see the ex-Barcelona player at Anfield next season.

Manchester United

Manchester United are currently struggling in the Premier League and Erik ten Hag's job is under scrutiny. If the Dutch manager fails to finish in the Champions League positions, he may lose his job at the end of this season. If that happens, there is a possibility that Xavi can be the replacement for Ten Hag at United.

Al Nassr

Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr can also become a possible destination for Xavi. The Saudi giants are currently placed 2nd in the table and if they fail to win the league, Luis Castro may be shown the door.
