Three major European Clubs looking to sign fringe Chelsea defender David Luiz

London, Dec 18: Chelsea defender David Luiz could leave the club in the January transfer window as his fall-out with manager Antonio Conte believed to be not improved at all.

Luiz had a bust-up with Antonio Conte earlier in Chelsea's 3-0 defeat against Roma due to the difference of game plan and it was then reported that both the pair have been on a rough patch since September.

He was later omitted from the team in the next two matches against after the Roma tie, against Manchester United and West Brom as a punishment. But afterwards had been called into the first team again. He, however, now has lost his place to youngster Andreas Christensen and hasn’t featured for the Blues since October.

Now as per reports, the defender could be set for the exit at Stamford Bridge next month and top clubs like Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus all have shown interest in the player.

Italian giants Juventus thought to be ahead in the race as it is believed that the defending league winners have already held talks with the defender and see him as the perfect man to fill the hole left by Leonardo Bonucci’s stunning departure to rivals AC Milan over the summer.

However, they could face competition from UCL winners Real Madrid who also have surprisingly joined the race with a need of a defender after the La Liga side's consistent injury problem in the defence. Manchester United who also have lost their star defender Eric Bailly for three months due to an ankle surgery also are believed to be competing for the defender.

Chelsea have reportedly set a £22million price tag on the defender and in the current circumstances, it looks like whoever will pay the asked money will get the defender as in all the clubs the defender will mostly play as a secondary.

However, Luiz's inclusion could add an extra dimension to all the teams as the 30-year-old is capable of playing in both in the heart of the defence as well as in midfield which is also another factor these clubs are looking at.
