Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves is expected to look for a new challenge next summer but the 25-year-old's main aim is likely to remain in the Premier League.
Since joining Wolves in 2017, he has built himself up to be one of the most reliable and technically gifted midfielders in the top flight. But his time at Molineux could be at an end after this season after his hints of a newer and better challenge next.
Neves has been linked with a potential exit since the last year. The Portuguese midfielder was even strongly linked with a move to Barcelona in January but apparently, Wolves declined any approach in the midseason.
However, the Wolves captain reportedly has expressed his desire for a change next summer and apparently will be eager to join a top side in the Premier League.
His wish apparently has already been acknowledged by a couple of bigwigs already and if some of the reports are to be believed these are three sides are that are keeping a close eye.
Manchester United
The Red Devils were interested in him following the rejection of De Jong. However, Ten Hag instead signed Eriksen finally on a free deal. Eriksen so far has impressed in that role massively. The 30-year-old has been tasked with the role of picking the ball up from the defence and playing it forward to start attacks, in which he has shined so far.
But the club lacks any alternative to him and as a result, more midfield addition is expected ahead of next season. The Dutch coach apparently is not content with the likes of Fred and Scott Mctominay in the middle and a move for Neves could intensify again.

Liverpool
The Anfield giants have also been credited with an interest who are also looking for a midfield addition next. The Reds have an aging midfield and with doubts over the likes of James Milner, Naby Keita, Curtis Jones, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's long-term future at the club, they could look to sign a midfielder this summer. Liverpool reportedly are eager to sign someone with Premier League experience and Neves is said to be one of the players they are keeping track of for the summer.
Arsenal
Much like the above two, the Gunners also hold a long-standing interest in him. The North London club are flying high and there is a big chance of them securing a league title after almost a two-decade. However, the club seem to be still working ahead of next summer and potential midfield addition is said to be on their agenda.
Arsenal are apparently looking for a player that can deputize the role of Thomas Partey as well as Granit Xhaka. The January signing of Jorginho was concluded for the same cause. However, the 31-year-old is regarded only as a temporary solution, and Neves's inclusion could be viewed as long-term.
