Timothy Weah's agent has expressed frustration with a Juventus director, alleging interference in Weah's potential transfer to Marseille. Although Weah has agreed on personal terms with the French club, Juventus has not yet accepted their offer. The winger joined Juventus from Lille in 2023 and has scored seven goals in 78 matches. He played a key role in their Coppa Italia victory in 2024, contributing two goals in five games.
During the Club World Cup, Juventus attempted to sell Weah to Nottingham Forest, but he declined the move to the Premier League team. The 25-year-old only featured once as Juventus exited the tournament in the last 16 against Real Madrid. Badou Sambague, Weah's agent, is adamant that the player will not consider a Premier League switch over Marseille.

"Juventus are a fantastic club, the sporting department is managed by three people who have class. We won't hold it against them, but two are looking for solutions and one is creating problems, and we cannot let that go," Sambague told RMC Sport. He insists that Weah remains professional despite being sidelined during the Club World Cup.
Sambague claims that an individual within Juventus tried to force Weah into a move he didn't want. "Today, out of spite, he is demanding a fortune and is waiting for a Premier League offer that will never come, and we'll never approve," Sambague added. This situation has led to tension between the parties involved.
Sambague criticised these tactics as outdated and disrespectful. "These old-fashioned methods won't work with me. I'm not accustomed to speaking out, but staying silent today would mean accepting the unacceptable and a total lack of respect," he stated. He emphasised that class cannot be purchased and has always been integral to Juventus.
The ongoing situation highlights internal conflicts at Juventus regarding player transfers. With one director allegedly causing issues, it remains uncertain how this will affect Weah's future at the club or his potential move to Marseille.
