Tite reveals plan to get the best out of Neymar

While discussing his team captain's revival to being the best, Tite claimed that his plan to get the best out of Neymar worked after he got rid of his dependency in the squad.

Sao Paulo, November 28: Brazilian head coach Tite has lifted the lid on Neymar's superb international form in a recent press conference as he revealed that lowering pressure on the PSG man is the secret to his recent success.

Neymar has already reached the 50 goals mark for Brazil and currently at fourth in Brazil's top scorer list, behind Pele, Ronaldo and Romario.

The former Barcelona man has been influential to Brazil's success in recent years and in Dunga's time at the club, the team was very dependent on his individual effort. Even in Brazil, the Selecao football team was often labelled as 'Neymardependencia’ because of Neymar's sole match-winning efforts.

In last two years of Dunga's reign, Neymar scored 11 goals, seven more than second best Coutinho.

However, such performance came at a big cost as the forward came under a lot of pressure and was often regarded as a calm person on the field, and throughout Dunga's two-year reign, Neymar saw more cards than any other Brazil player.

But after Dunga's departure and Tite's arrival, the Selecao saw a huge turn in their overall performance and the team was seen performing as a whole unit, lowering pressure from Neymar's shoulder.

In Tite's reign, Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus currently leads the way with eight goals, while, Neymar has seven, Paulinho has six and Coutinho four.

But the former Barcelona plater was seen performing in a more relaxed way in all the games and looked more dangerous than before.

And now while discussing his team captain's revival to being the best, Tite claimed that his plan to get the best out of Neymar worked after he got rid of his dependency in the squad.

“[I’ve got the best from Neymar] by not making him fully responsible for the situation and by not putting him at loggerheads with responsibility either,” Tite told FIFA.

“I spoke to the players and allocated an area of responsibility to each of them. When you have one of the top three players in the world, it’s very easy just to leave the responsibility up to them.

“The fact is, though, each of us are all responsible to some extent for what happens. And that’s where the individual side of things and creative talent come in. I’ve made this an essential part of teamwork. I haven’t left it to one individual.”

Since Tite's taken charge, Brazil has seen a massive impact as the Latin American side qualified for the World Cup in Russia by topping the group.
