Tottenham secured consecutive Premier League victories by defeating Manchester United 1-0 at home. Tottenham became the first team since Chelsea in the 2012-13 season to defeat Manchester United three times across all competitions within a single season. They also completed a league double over United for the first time since the 1989-90 season. Meanwhile, Ruben Amorim's challenges persist as his team has lost eight of their last 12 Premier League matches.

Only Leicester City and Southampton have suffered more defeats during this period. Despite applying significant pressure throughout the match, United failed to find an equaliser against Tottenham's solid defence.
