Tottenham eye Ryan Sessegnon to replace Danny Rose

Rose has set his sight on a possible move to another club in the Winter window and Spurs have already lined up a replacement, Sessegnon, for their unhappy full-back.

Ryan Sessegnon is Tottenham's top target

London, November 28: Fulham prodigy Ryan Sessegnon is believed to be at the top of Tottenham's transfer list to replace the current star full-back, Danny Rose.

Rose earlier in the summer, stirred a controversy with remarks that he would like a move away from the club in search of more money and trophies and it is understood that manager Pochettino is still unhappy with comments made by the England defrender.

The English fullback since his return from injury in late September has only played one match so far and is currently behind Ben Davies in manager Mauricio Pochettino’s selection order.

The 27-year-old was also omitted from the squad in their 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion at the weekend despite being declared fit.

Now according to reports, the Three Lions player has set his sight on a possible move to another club in the Winter window and Spurs have already lined up a replacement, Sessegnon, for their unhappy full-back.

There are also reports that Spurs could sign United's fringe player Luke Shaw as part of Rose's deal whom Pochettino knows from his days at Southampton but it is believed that the North London side have made the youngster as their first choice ahead of Shaw.

The 17-year-old Sessegnon is one of the brightest young talents in English football and has been playing in the first team regularly since last season. The youngster scored five goals for Fulham last season and signed a three-year professional contract in June.

He was also named in the Championship Team of the Year last season where he impressed a lot with his displays at left-back. He also helped his team win the European U19 Championships this year, finishing the tournament as joint top-scorer from full-back (with three goals).

The young Englishman has already played nearly full 19 matches so far this season and has registered four goals along with two assists to his name.

Reportedly, there is no buy-out clause in Sessegnon’s contract, however as per reports, Fulham are ready to listen to offers around £30million.
