Bengaluru, February 21: Tottenham Hotspur are set to renew their interest in Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha in a third attempt to land the player in the Summer.

The former Manchester United winger is on the radar of Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino for a very long time and in the winter window, the North London side tried to land the player, but, Palace rejected two offers as they sought to hold off the player for better offers.

Reportedly Pochettino made two bids for the 25-year-old last summer. An opening offer of £12m and later an improved bid of £21m but both were rejected by the Eagles.

Spurs signed £25m PSG winger Lucas Moura as his alternative later but despite the capture, it is believed that Spurs are hopeful that the relegation-threatened Palace will sell the player in the next transfer window for a commendable fee, even if they stay in the top flight.

However, the north London club may have to compete with a number of Premier League rivals for the Ivory Coast player's signature as reportedly Chelsea and Manchester City are also interested in the player.

The winger is currently on the sidelines after suffering a knee injury this month against Newcastle and currently is nourishing the heal with NASA technology to fast-track his return.

He recently posted a picture on his Instagram page sharing his preparation of a comeback where he is seen using an anti-gravity treadmill developed using NASA technology to assist athletes in recovering from lower body injuries, by training at a moderate intensity.

Zaha signed a new five-year deal worth around £100,000 per week with Palace last year and has been in great form for Crystal Palace since returning to the club from Manchester United in 2014.

The winger has played 20 matches so far this season and has scored four goals and helped in two.
