Postecoglou acknowledged that without additional players, their chances of success are slim. He stressed that the club is working hard to address these issues.

Postecoglou refrained from criticising Tottenham's management, including director Johan Lange. Instead, he highlighted ongoing discussions aimed at strengthening the squad. "I don't think I'm stating anything other than the obvious and for me to come here and say something else would be disingenuous," he said on Friday. "This playing group needs help, there's no doubt about that."

Tottenham is set to face Leicester City on Sunday but is not expecting any new additions before then. The team continues to prepare under challenging circumstances. Postecoglou remains focused on managing his current squad effectively despite limited resources. He stated, "I'm not out there trying to find opportunities for the club; that's not my role at this time."

The manager also mentioned his regular communication with Johan Lange as they explore potential solutions. "I have daily communication with Johan in particular, and he's trying everything he possibly can to get the help we need," Postecoglou noted. His priority remains preparing his team for upcoming matches amidst these challenges.

When asked about financial resources for transfers, Postecoglou clarified that he does not engage in those discussions directly. His focus remains on coaching and preparing his team while trusting management to handle recruitment efforts.
