Erling Haaland scored a simple goal against Tottenham Hotspur to give Manchester City the lead on Wednesday in the Premier League, thus registering a fantastic personal milestone as well.
The Norwegian striker, who has taken English football by storm since his arrival from Borussia Dortmund, continued his relentless scoring form with a clinical finish, courtesy of a pinpoint assist from Jeremy Doku.

In the 11th minute of the match, Jeremy Doku made a darting run through the left flank. The Belgian cut inside and slipped through a pass, which was simply slotted home with his left foot by Haaland. The Norwegian broke no sweat to beat the Spurs keeper as Pep Guardiola's men took the lead.
With the goal against Tottenham, Erling Haaland has now reached the 20-goal milestone in the league. Despite an underwhelming season for Man City, the lanky strike continues to provide for them with the goals. Haaland has overall been a goalscoring machine again for them, netting 28 goals across all competitions so far.
Haaland has now netted 20 goals or more in the domestic leagues for the 5th season in a row. The 24-year-old has been prolific at Manchester City for three seasons in running, and before that, he was excellent at Borussia Dortmund as well.
The Norway international scored 86 goals in just 89 appearances for Dortmund before joining the Manchester club.
