Toure backs Manchester City's title tilt

London, Oct.8 (ANI): Kolo Toure claims Manchester City's early-season results prove they are in with a chance to nab this year's Premier League title.

After seven games, Mark Hughes' City have only been beaten by Manchester United and now sit fourth in the table, five points behind leaders Chelsea with a game in hand.

The Sun quoted Toure, a 14 million pound City defender, as saying: "We were disappointed to leave the derby match with nothing but that shows how far this club has come in a very short space of time. We showed everyone we have the qualities and the spirit to mix it up with the big boys." (ANI)
