The 2025 summer transfer window is in full motion, with elite European clubs like Liverpool, Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea making key moves to strengthen their squads ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.
While speculation surrounds big names such as Gyokeres, Eze and Gittens, finalised signings, including Wirtz, Cunha, and Kerkez, underline the ambitions of Premier League sides.

Viktor Gyokeres to Arsenal or Manchester United
Sporting CP’s lethal forward Viktor Gyokeres is currently the subject of a battle between Arsenal and Manchester United. Arsenal are allegedly set to make an offer for the Swedish striker, but Sporting’s steep valuation remains a hurdle. Yet, current reports suggest Gyokeres prefers a switch to Man United over the North London outfit.
Jamie Gittens to Chelsea
Even though Bayern Munich are interested, Chelsea are reportedly on the verge of signing Borussia Dortmund’s 20-year-old winger Jamie Gittens. An agreement is said to be in place between both clubs for a €65m transfer, and Gittens is waiting for clearance to undergo his medical.
Eberechi Eze to Arsenal or Tottenham
Crystal Palace’s standout midfielder Eberechi Eze has caught the attention of both Arsenal and Tottenham. Carrying a £68m release clause, Eze’s adaptability makes him a strong contender for Arsenal’s left-wing slot or Tottenham’s forward unit.
Bryan Mbeumo to Manchester United or Tottenham
Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo has been strongly linked with Manchester United, who seem close to acquiring the player. However, in a surprising twist, Mbeumo is now believed to favour joining Tottenham, particularly with Thomas Frank now at the helm.
Martin Zubimendi to Arsenal
Though also targeted by Liverpool, Manchester City and Real Madrid, Martin Zubimendi, a top-tier defensive midfielder, is reportedly Arsenal-bound. Mikel Arteta has long admired the Real Sociedad star, and the Premier League club are willing to pay beyond his release clause to secure his services.
Marc Guehi to Liverpool
Liverpool are targeting Crystal Palace’s skipper Marc Guehi to bolster their backline. With Guehi’s contract nearing expiration, Palace might decide to sell, especially as Liverpool expect funds from Jarell Quansah’s possible move to Bayer Leverkusen.
Emiliano Martinez to Manchester United
Despite penning a new contract just 10 months earlier, Aston Villa keeper Emiliano Martinez is said to be open to leaving, believing the time is right to chase major honours. Manchester United are in the market for a dependable goalkeeper to replace Andre Onana, and Martinez could fit the bill. Although Villa hold European hopes, Martinez’s desire for Old Trafford may lead to a marquee transfer.
Benjamin Sesko to Arsenal
Arsenal remain keen on landing RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko and are reportedly prepared to pay over £85m. Even with a recent contract extension, Sesko’s 21-goal haul last season makes him a key target for Mikel Arteta. Leipzig have reportedly softened their asking price, which benefits Arsenal’s pursuit.
Nico Williams to Barcelona
Athletic Club’s winger Nico Williams has openly stated his intent to sign for Barcelona, dashing hopes of Arsenal and other suitors. He has reportedly agreed to personal terms with the Spanish giants and awaits the release clause payment. Still, Barcelona’s financial woes could delay matters, though talks continue.
Theo Hernandez to Al Hilal
AC Milan’s full-back Theo Hernandez is reportedly in advanced negotiations with Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal over a €30m move. With his current deal set to expire in 2026, Milan want to avoid losing him for free.
Liverpool: Liverpool have been particularly active this window after a long spell, completing signings of Florian Wirtz (£100m from Bayer Leverkusen), Milos Kerkez (£40m from Bournemouth) and Jeremie Frimpong. Their total outlay now exceeds £200m, with further deals anticipated.
Manchester United: Manchester United finalised a £62.5m transfer for Wolves striker Matheus Cunha, adding firepower to Ruben Amorim’s frontline.
Chelsea: Chelsea wrapped up deals for Estevao (£28.7m) and Liam Delap (£30m) as part of their summer rebuild, with talks ongoing over Jamie Gittens.
Bournemouth: Bournemouth offloaded Milos Kerkez to Liverpool (£40m) and Dean Huijsen to Real Madrid (£50m), while acquiring Adrien Truffert (£11.4m) and Michael Kayode (£14.7m).
