Igor Tudor Expresses Confidence In Juventus Securing Top Four Finish In Serie A

Igor Tudor is confident that Juventus will secure a top-four finish in Serie A and qualify for the Champions League. Despite recent challenges, he emphasises the team's preparation and intensity ahead of crucial matches.

Igor Tudor is optimistic about Juventus securing a top-four finish in Serie A, ensuring their spot in the Champions League. Despite a recent 1-1 draw with Bologna, which halted their progress, Juventus remains fourth. They share 63 points with Roma and Lazio, who are fifth and sixth respectively. Tudor took charge after Thiago Motta's exit in March and remains confident about the team's prospects.

Tudor expressed his belief in the team's strength during a press conference, stating, "Yes, I am convinced (of that), but everyone is convinced." He emphasised the importance of preparation over mere words, acknowledging that all teams consider themselves strong contenders. The upcoming match against Lazio is crucial for both teams' European ambitions.

Tudor Confident Juventus Will Finish Top Four

The return of Dusan Vlahovic is a significant boost for Juventus. Vlahovic had been sidelined for two weeks due to a thigh injury but has now rejoined the team. Tudor confirmed, "Dusan is fine. He was all week with us." However, Teun Koopmeiners remains unavailable, while Federico Gatti will be on the bench after limited participation in training.

Tudor praised his players' readiness ahead of the Lazio clash, noting their awareness and confidence. He remarked on their eagerness to perform well, understanding the match's significance. "We know the importance of this match and we prepared ourselves as best we could," Tudor stated.

The Croatian coach anticipates a challenging encounter against Lazio, a team he briefly managed last season. Reflecting on his time there, he said: "Lazio are an experienced team with strong players. We have to be careful, but we have to focus on ourselves." His previous stint ended amicably after disagreements over transfer targets.

Tudor fondly remembers leading Lazio to the Europa League last year before departing by choice. He still holds affection for the club and its people. Looking forward to tomorrow's game against Lazio, he acknowledges it will differ from their recent draw with Bologna due to Lazio's distinct strengths.

Juventus aims to capitalise on this opportunity to strengthen their position in Serie A's top four. With key players returning and a focused squad, they are poised for this pivotal match against Lazio.
