Tyger Capital has teamed up with India Khelo Football (IKF) to enhance grassroots football in India. This collaboration marks the largest talent scouting initiative in Indian football, aiming to make talent identification more accessible nationwide.
The IKF Trials, now named Tyger IKF Trials, will cover 100 cities for under-13, under-15, and under-17 boys and girls in Season 4.

Since 2021, IKF has held three seasons of National Trials across over 60 cities and villages in India. More than 17,000 players have participated, with over 350 kids advancing to the National Finals. These finals attract ISL, I-League, and international academies that select and train young talent. To date, over 100 players have been shortlisted for further trials by professional clubs and international academies.
IKF collaborates with regional football academies accredited by AIFF to ensure successful trials in each city. The scouting process involves multiple phases and maintains a database of player statistics with up to 25 attributes. Kids can access performance reports with actionable insights on improving their skills through a unique digital platform.
The partnership with Tyger Capital is expected to expand IKF's reach and services for aspiring footballers across the country. Gaurav Gupta, founder of Tyger Capital, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership and encouraged kids and their parents to enroll in the trials to advance their football careers. He praised IKF for creating equal opportunities for aspiring football players in India.
IKF's National Finals see participation from prominent ISL and I-League clubs as well as international organizations. The organization offers PFSA-certified scouting training programs for aspiring coaches and brings Premier League Academy scouts to India for workshops and assessments. Selected players get the chance to showcase their skills to international academies for scholarships.
Founded in 2017, Tyger Capital aims to provide tailored financial solutions to micro-entrepreneurs in semi-urban and rural areas. With a network of over 185 branches across nine states, it has supported over 125,000 micro-entrepreneurs and first-time homebuyers through its subsidiaries.
Overall, this partnership between Tyger Capital and IKF seeks to elevate grassroots football in India by providing young talent with opportunities to shine on the global stage.
