UCL: Fans explode on Twitter as Barcelona create history at Camp Nou

Bengaluru, March 9: FC Barcelona did the unthinkable. They scripted history at Camp Nou as they overturned a 0-4 deficit from the first leg to beat PSG 6-1 in the second leg to qualify for the quarter-finals.

Luis Enrique had to battle against the odds last night as no team in the history of the tournament has qualified to next round after conceding 4-0 in the first leg.

It was not easy especially against a strong side like Paris Saint-Germain who are considered to be one of the strongest sides in European football.

But Barcelona were adamant right from the word go. Luis Suarez netted the opening goal in the 3rd minute.

Layvin Kurzawa's own goal increased the lead in the 40th minute as the teams went into half time with Barcelona leading 2-0.

Enrique's men started the second half from where they had left in the first part. Their continuous attacks yielded them a penalty in the 50th minute and who else but Lionel Messi netted the third goal.

Hopes rose as Barcelona were nearing the magical scoreline. Out of nowhere came Edinson Cavani who scored one for the visitors and almost spoiled the Catalan giants' party.

But the heavens had other plans Barcelona scored 3 goals from 88 minutes to 96 minutes and pushed them into the last 8 of the Champions League.

As Barcelona created a miracle at Camp Nou, fans around the world went berserk on Twitter.
