The first leg of the UEFA Europa League Play-Off round has seen some staggering results across Europe.

Manchester United managed to come away with a decent result at Camp Nou against Barcelona while Juventus failed to win at home against French club Nantes. There were some fantastic matches in the first leg and here is the complete set of results from the 1st leg-

Barcelona 2 - 2 Manchester United

Manchester United played out a fantastic match at Camp Nou but failed to get a win as Barcelona salvaged a draw in the 1st leg. United were by far the better team in the match, as they created the better chances and looked like the better team. Although Marcos Alonso gave Barcelona the lead, Marcus Rashford scored to restore parity for the Red Devils. The Premier League side then took the lead as Jules Kounde scored an own goal. But it was Raphinha who netted the equaliser for the hosts 15 minutes from time and rescued the Spanish side.

Shakhtar Donetsk 2 - 1 Rennes

Shakhtar managed a crucial 2-1 win over French outfit Rennes. Dmytro Kryskiv and Artem Bondarenko scored the goals for the Ukrainian club while Karl Toko Ekambi got one back for Rennes.

Juventus 1 -1 Nantes

Juventus failed to win at home as they were held to a 1-1 draw against Nantes. Dusan Vlahovic opened the scoring for the Italian giants but they failed to capitalize on that. It was Ludovic Blas who scored an equalizer for Nantes and thus salvaged a hostoric result for the French club.

Sevilla 3 - 0 PSV Eindhoven

A comprehensive 3-0 win for Sevilla at home has taken the Spanish club towards the Round of 16. Youssef En-Nesyri, Lucas Ocampos and Nemanja Gudelj scored the goals and the record Europa League champions are expected to progress for the next round. PSV, on the other hand, have a lot to do at home next week.

Leverkusen 2 - 3 AS Monaco

A thrilling 5-goal encounter saw AS Monaco prevail in Germany to take away a crucial lead ahead of the 2nd leg in the Europa League. Leverkusen were winning the match 2-1 courtesy of goals from Moussa Diaby and Florian Wirtz after falling behind with a Lukas Hradecky own goal. Krepin Diatta scored a goal for Monaco to restore parity for Monaco, and then Axel Disasi scored an injury-time winner for them.

Other Matches:

Sporting CP were held to a 1-1 draw against Midtjylland at home. Ajax managed only a goalless draw at home against German high-flyers Union Berlin. And Austrian outfit FC Salzburg scored a late goal to win 1-0 at home against AS Roma.
