The group stages of the UEFA Nations League 2024-25 concluded on Tuesday (November 19) and the eight teams who will battle in the playoffs are now confirmed.
Along with that, the countries have also learned their fate as teams have been promoted and relegated across divisions at the end of the group stages.

Eight teams have advanced to the knockout stages of the Nations League. From Group 1 Portugal and Croatia advanced to the knockouts. Cristiano Ronaldo's side remain unbeaten in the competition so far.
From Group 2, France and Italy are through to the playoff round. Both teams ended on 13 points but France finished top due to their superior goal difference. In the 3rd Group, Germany and Netherlands have advanced, while Spain and Denmark have made it to the next stage from Group 4.
The quarterfinals draw of the UEFA Nations League will be held on November 22.
Apart from the championship playoff among the top League A teams, the 3rd placed teams of League A will lock horns with 2nd placed teams of League B for the promotion/relegation playoffs - so it will continue till League D (B vs C, C vs D).
The teams who have finished at the bottom of their groups in League A, B and C are set to face direct relegation, while the team topping its group in the League B, C and D are set to earn direct promotion. Nations League A toppers will have the championship play-off while the League D bottom dwellers remain in the same zone.
Relegated: Poland, Israel, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Switzerland (All will play in Nations League B)

Promoted: Czech Republic, England, Norway, Wales (League A)
Promotion Play-Offs: Turkey, Austria, Greece, Ukraine
Relegation Play-Offs: Iceland, Slovenia, Republic of Ireland, Georgia
Relegated: Montenegro, Kazakhstan, Finland, Albania
Promoted: Sweden, Northern Ireland, Romania, North Macedonia (to League B)
Promotion Play-Offs: Slovakia, Kosovo, Bulgaria, Armenia
Relegation Play-Offs: Luxembourg, Latvia
Relegated: Azerbaijan, Lithuania (to League D)
Promoted: San Marino, Moldova (to League C)
Promotion Play-Off: Gibraltar, Malta
