Christian Pulisic scored a crucial goal as USA ended an 11-game losing streak against Brazil with a 1-1 draw.
This result gave them a positive outlook for the upcoming Copa America. Pulisic scored in the 26th minute to level the score after Rodrygo's 17th-minute goal which gave Brazil the lead.

Matt Turner made 11 saves, the most by an American goalkeeper since Tim Howard's 15 against Belgium in the 2014 World Cup.
"It's a huge bounce-back performance for us. We really faced adversity and were able to recover a few days later," Turner said. The USA goalkeeper apologized to the fans after losing 1-5 against Colombia.
Rebounding from a 5-1 loss to Colombia, the U.S. now holds a 1-18 record against Brazil, their only win coming in the 1998 CONCACAF Gold Cup semifinal. Brazil dominated possession with 61%, outshot the U.S. 24-12, and had a 9-0 corner kick advantage.
"We made a little step," U.S. coach Gregg Berhalter said. "Playing against a talented Brazil team, we bent but didn't break and gave them problems."
USA will play Bolivia, Panama, and Uruguay in the Copa America which will be held in the country.
Brazil's first-round matches are against Costa Rica, Paraguay, and Colombia. "It's a good result going into tournament play and that's what we needed," said American defender Tim Ream.
The match drew 60,016 fans to Camping World Stadium, the largest U.S. national team game crowd in Florida. Yunus Musah nearly scored in the fifth minute with a 25-yard shot that hit the crossbar and bounced off goalkeeper Alisson.
Brazil took the lead when Turner's upfield pass was intercepted by Bruno Guimarães, who headed it to Raphinha. Raphinha then passed to Rodrygo, who scored his sixth international goal.
Pulisic equalised with a free kick after being pulled down by Joao Gomes. This marked Pulisic's 29th goal in 68 international games. Turner made key saves, including shots from Endrick, Rodrygo, and Vinícius Júnior, and punched away Andreas Pereira's free kick.
Alisson denied Pulisic in the 68th minute and Brenden Aaronson in the 80th. The USA wore rainbow numbers for Pride Month on blue jerseys with a white diagonal slash and a hint of red.
