Galatasaray have stated that Victor Osimhen cannot leave through a fixed-price clause, despite fresh reports from Italy. Club president Dursun Ozbek confirmed that the Nigeria forward, whose deal runs until June 2029, is fully tied to the Turkish champions and is not available through any automatic option.
Ozbek stressed that Galatasaray are satisfied with both the investment and Osimhen’s long-term role. "There is no release clause in Osimhen's contract. He is an extremely successful footballer who will serve Galatasaray for many years," Ozbek told Fanatik. "Perhaps the amount was considered high on the day we signed him, but today the prevailing view in football circles is that the transfer fee was low and the player's value is much higher."

Osimhen initially arrived at Galatasaray on loan for the 2024-25 season, then signed permanently from Napoli in a 75m deal last summer. The fee is now viewed differently within the game, as Osimhen’s form has grown and transfer valuations across Europe have continued to rise.
The 27-year-old has delivered strong numbers since moving to Istanbul, scoring 54 goals in 66 appearances across competitions. Osimhen has been especially effective in the Champions League this season, producing seven goals and two assists in eight matches, and netting the decisive strike against Juventus in the play-off second leg.
Juventus have been heavily linked with Osimhen, especially after that crucial goal, but Galatasaray’s stance and the absence of a release clause signal that any departure would depend on direct negotiations rather than a pre-set figure.
