"We showed intensity and fight," he said to BBC Match of the Day. "We didn’t let our heads go down and continued to push." Edwards remains optimistic about their direction despite hating losses.

Villa's recent form at home has been remarkable, with five straight league wins—their best streak since winning 15 consecutive games between March and December 2023. Kamara echoed Emery’s sentiments about playing at home: "If you’re strong at home, you’re happy to play at home." He appreciated the fans' support and expressed readiness for upcoming challenges.

Asked about Villa's preference for long-range shots, Emery explained: "They practice a lot in training, and then you must show it in matches." He praised Kamara’s goal as fantastic while acknowledging Wolves' defensive efforts. Despite Wolves having chances, Martinez's saves were crucial for Villa’s win.
