Real Madrid's Vinicus Jr. was subject to racial slurs in a recent La Liga match against Valencia at the Mestalla stadium.
On May 21, Real Madrid were up against Valencia where Vinicius Jr. was racially abused by a set of Valencia fans. Despite repeated complaints, the racist chants continued and to make matters worse, Vinicius was even shown a Red Card at the flag end of the game, which Real lost 1-0.

But now, Spain's anti-violence commission has punished seven people for racism towards Vinicius Jr.
Three of the Valencia fans who made racial chants have been fined €5,000 and given one-year stadium bans for racist gestures towards the Brazilian. The amount is around INR 4.3 lakh.
Four men have been fined €60,000 (around INR 52 Lakh) and given two-year stadium bans for hanging a racist effigy of the winger near Real'd training ground in January.
The 22-year-old Brazil international also contemplated leaving the club after being repetitively abused by racist fans in Spain. He also saw his Red Card rescinded by La Liga's competition committee.
La Liga president Javier Tebas promised to take stern action to eradicate racism from Spanish stadiums and insisted the league could solve the issue within six months. He also continued that players like Vinicius was targeted because of their talent.
Since the player went vocal against racism, he has gained support across the footballing fraternity. Real Madrid supporters and players unitedly supported the player and also held an anti-racism banner before the kick-off of their match against Rayo Vallecano.
The talented player will be hoping to concentrate on national duties after a decent club season. Vinicius has been called up by Brazil boss Tite for their upcoming friendlies against Guinea and Senegal this month.
