Vinícius Junior has addressed his contract situation with Real Madrid amid speculations of him leaving the club.
This comes after reports suggested he had declined an initial renewal offer from the Spanish giants.

Vinicius Jr has been an instrumental figure for Los Blancos since joining the club. The Brazil international has grown in stature and is now regarded as one of the best players in the world. Although Madrid has been his breeding ground, it is being reported that the player has stalled about a contract extension.
Despite this, the player has conveyed his commitment to the club and hopes that discussions will conclude favorably in the coming days. Although speculations about a move to Saudi Arabia looms large, the player denies of having any knowledge regarding a potential move to Asian football.
Following Real Madrid's dramatic 3-2 victory over Manchester City, where Vinícius played a pivotal role by assisting Jude Bellingham's stoppage-time winner, the Brazilian forward commented on his future.
"It is always very exciting to be able to have conversations with Real Madrid about my renewal," Vinicius Jr reportedly said to TNT Brasil.
"I have a contract until 2027, but I have always said that I want to continue playing here after so much time and making history. I have received the affection of the fans, the president, the coaching staff, all the players... my wish is to be here longer and God willing in the next few days all the negotiations will be resolved to spend much more time here," the Real Madrid star added.
The 24-year-old also turned down any hint of an Al Hilal bid. The Saudi giants are being tipped to put forward an enormous windfall, which may mean them activating Vinicius' gigantic €1 billion release clause.
"I don't know anything either, nobody has spoken to me, I have to speak to the president and I hope I can stay here for a long time, this competition gives us something more and I want to make history."
Vinícius has been instrumental in Real Madrid's recent successes, including their latest Champions League triumph. His contributions have solidified his status as a key player for the team.
