WAG Charlotte Mears swears off footballers after Jermain Defoe

London, Oct 3 : Former WAG Charlotte Mears swore to stay clear of footballers after splitting with Portsmouth striker Jermain Defoe.

She has been single for eight months following the split.

Mears has revealed that she is concentrating solely on her career.

"I'm concentrating solely on my career at the moment and not looking to get into a relationship," the Sun quoted her as saying.

"There's lots of things I need to focus on right now but, obviously, you never know when you might meet someone.

"But it won't be a footballer," she added.

She was left heartbroken after ex-fiance Defoe ended their relationship, and started dating her former pal and fellow Wag Danielle Lloyd.
