Inter Miami is in the midst of their pre-season and are currently exploring a tour across Central America, which includes Lionel Messi on the side.

Lionel Messi, the perennial stalwart from Argentina, has been influential in Inter Miami's prowess early in the preseason.

Messi scored a goal in Inter's first pre-season friendly against Mexican side Club America. Although Miami won their first two matches only via penalties, the outright victory came on Sunday as Miami managed a 3-1 win over Panama outfit Sporting San Miguelito.

Lionel Messi is expected to be in action on Saturday (February 8) again, when Inter Miami plays Honduran club CD Olimpia. The match will be played at the Estadio Olimpico Metropolitano in San Pedro Sula.

Lionel Messi is scheduled to return to competitive football action with Inter Miami on February 18, 2025, in an away match against Sporting Kansas City for the first round of the CONCACAF Champions Cup. The second leg of this series is set for February 25 at Inter Miami's home ground.

Additionally, Inter Miami will participate in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, with matches against Egyptian club Al Ahly on June 14, Portugal's FC Porto on June 19, and Brazil's SE Palmeiras on June 23.
