Professional Football players don't have much time off between the club season, which runs from August to May, and international responsibilities in June and July. On the few times that they have, they make the most of it holidaying.

With the latest footballing season getting to an end this month, this has been the same case with superstars Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.

The upcoming season will be the first time when both the superstars will play outside Europe.

Cristiano Ronaldo already left Europe in January following his contract termination with Manchester United. The Portuguese superstar signed for middle east side Al-Nassr with a multi-million offer.

Now following his route his rival for so many years, Lionel Messi too has opted for a move outside Europe signing for MLS side Inter Miami.

Both the players however are yet to play for a new season so far and is busy relaxing and holidaying with their current family.

Where is Cristiano Ronaldo enjoying his vacation?

Ronaldo played the final game of the campaign with Portugal, against Iceland before jetting off to a long holiday with his family.

He is currently enjoying vacation with Georgina Rodriguez and the rest of his family. He has been seen on the shores of the Italian island of Sardinia with his majestic yacht.

His girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez and the superstar have been giving fans a sneak peek of the vacation through her Instagram.

Where is Lionel Messi enjoying his vacation?

The World Cup winner will set for a new journey in the last of July that will see him feature for his new side Inter Miami. The MLS season is already ongoing and the 36-year-old is expected to be part of the group from the third week of July.

But following his involvement in the recent international fixture against Australia, Messi is now enjoying his vacation. But unlike other stars, he is enjoying his holiday times in Argentina with his family.

He jetted off to Rosaria to celebrate his 36th birthday with his family and wife Antonella Rocuzzo. He also posted a beautiful picture of himself, his wife, and his three kids on Instagram.

During the off time he however also featured for Argentina in an exhibition match against Newell's Old Boys. On his 36th birthday, Messi put on a show for the 42,000 fans in attendance with a first-half hattrick.
