Sergio Ramos is on the verge of joining Mexican club C.F. Monterrey, commonly known as Rayados.
At 38, Ramos has been a free agent since his departure from Sevilla FC six months ago. Despite aspirations to return to Real Madrid and considering various offers, he has opted to continue his career in Liga MX. The deal is reportedly in its final stages, with only a few details pending before official confirmation.

C.F. Monterrey's president Antonio Noriega has confirmed that the club is in talks with Ramos, aiming to bolster their defense following an injury to key player Carlos Salcedo. Noriega emphasized the club's commitment to strengthening the squad and acknowledged Ramos as a "real option" to achieve this goal.
As Sergio Ramos joins the Rayados, it may occur in mind about the club he is joining. Although CF Monterrey may not be a familiar name, it is a massive name across the American continent.
Founded on June 28, 1945, C.F. Monterrey is one of Mexico's most storied football clubs and the oldest active professional team in the country's northern region, at the city of Monterrey in the state of Nuevo Leon.
