The Quintero Twins, Edwin and Holger Quintero, are promising 16-year-old Ecuadorian footballers recently signed by Arsenal from the youth academy of Independiente Del Valle.
The Gunners announced the signing of the duo on Thursday. The twins are set to join Arsenal officially in August 2027 when they turn 18 years old, as they are currently too young to move internationally.

Arsenal have committed to working closely with Independiente Del Valle to ensure their development and well-being as they transition. The Quintero brothers have been recognized as two of South America's most exciting young talents, having already won Ecuador's under-15 championship and played in older age group competitions despite their young age.
Edwin plays primarily as a right winger known for his speed and skillful dribbling, while Holger is an attacking midfielder with strong playmaking abilities and versatility to operate on the left flank. Both have represented Ecuador at the under-17 level and have shown great potential early in their careers, drawing interest from top European clubs including Arsenal, Bayern Munich, and Sevilla.
Edwin and Holger are notable for their complementary skills: Edwin is left-footed and excels at dribbling and direct attacking runs, while Holger is right-footed, known for his vision and ability to link up play. Their journey through Independiente Del Valle's youth system and their international youth caps weigh heavily on their promising futures. Arsenal fans and football scouts alike are eagerly anticipating the arrival of the twins, who are expected to bolster Arsenal's squad depth and creative options in the coming years.
This move reflects Arsenal's investment in youthful talent with high potential, following club tradition in developing future stars from early stages. In the recent times, the Gunners have been served with distinction by their Hale End graduates, and they expect the conveyor belt to produce many more talents.
Bukayo Saka has been the biggest academy product for the North London club in recent time, while the likes of Myles Lewis-Skelly, Ethan Nwaneri, and Max Dowman are also reaching newer heights with the senior squad.
