Brazilian football star Neymar Jr has been in the news for his scandalous love life after cheating on his present girlfriend Bruna Biancardi who is pregnant with the baby of the superstar PSG and Brazil footballer.

Neymar on Wednesday issued a public apology to his girlfriend Bruna Biancardi amid reports that he cheated on her earlier this year. Biancardi is pregnant with the baby of the PSG star and the couple broke the news earlier in April this year.

Media reports have suggested that the 31-year-old cheated on his pregnant girlfriend with social media influencer Fernanda Campos on Valentine's Day eve. Neymar and Campos were just flirting when they first met in December.

By January, the soccer player allegedly sent out texts to Campos, claiming his relationship with Biancardi was "complicated at the moment." The messages also hinted that the duo were planning to meet up.

Neymar has apologised to Biancardi for causing pain to her and her family. He has also sought her forgiveness.

"Bru, I already apologised for my mistakes, for unnecessary exposure, but I feel obligated to come publicly reaffirm that. If a private matter has become public, the apology has to be public. "Can’t imagine without you. I don’t know if we’ll work out, but TODAY you’re sure I want to try," read a part of Neymar's Instagram post.
