Who is Felicio Brown Forbes? Know all about East Bengal's new Striker who played for Germany

East Bengal have announced the signing of Felicio Brown Forbes as their latest foreigner recruitment in the January Transfer window.

The Kolkata club announced the news on Thursday (February 1) and Brown is going to add East Bengal's firepower up front which already has Cleiton Silva in it.

Who is Felicio Brown Forbes?

Felicio Brown Forbes is a striker who is going to play for East Bengal in the remainder of the ISL 2023-24 season. Forbes is 32 years old and was born in German capital Berlin on August 28, 1991.

Felicio Brown Forbes Career

Felicio Forbes started his career with German club Nurnberg and played a couple of seasons for them. After leaving Nurnberg, Forbes has played for the likes of FSV Frankfurt, FC Rostov, Ufa and Anzhi Makhachkala in Russia.

He is known for his prolific stint with Polish club Wisla Krakow, where he scored 12 goals across two seasons. The player joined Chinese club Wuhan Yangtze in 2022 and scored 12 goals in 30 matches for them.

He is joining East Bengal after a year-long stint with another Chinese club Qingdao Hainiu.

Forbes played for Germany U-19 and U-20 teams in his career but later switched his allegiance to Costa Rica, the country of his roots. The striker has played five matches for Costa Rica in his career.
