Arsenal youngster Max Dowman has created a UEFA Youth League record in their 4-1 defeat at the hands of Atalanta on Thursday (September 19).
Arsenal's academy continues to produce standout talent, with Bukayo Saka leading the charge as the most successful Hale End graduate in recent years. Alongside him, Emile Smith Rowe, Eddie Nketiah, and Reiss Nelson have all established themselves in the Premier League.

Max Dowman is a 14-year-old Arsenal youth player. The young attacking midfielder was born on December 31, 2009. He has been representing the Gunners at various youth levels. He joined Arsenal as a kid and has been growing in leaps and bounds.
Dowman, who regularly features for Arsenal's Under-18s despite his age, became the youngest player to represent the club in the competition. On top of that, he also set a new record by becoming the UEFA Youth League's youngest-ever goalscorer at 14 years, 9 months, and 19 days, as he scored in the 1-4 defeat against Atalanta.
Dowman's remarkable progression has already earned him training sessions with Mikel Arteta's first team, and many within Arsenal believe he has a bright future. Arsenal scout Joe Black told Rising Ballers that the young midfielder is "doing very well" and is gaining attention for consistently playing above his age group.
Although Dowman still has a long way to go in terms of development, his performances at the Under-19 level at such a young age are extraordinary. His trajectory, if maintained, could see him become one of Arsenal's next big success stories.
Many youth stars have gone on to represent the club at the professional level in recent times. Bukayo Saka has been the biggest academy star for Arsenal in recent years, whereas the likes of Myles Lewis-Skelly, Ethan Nwaneri and Ayden Heaven are making giant strides.
