Ellie Goulding to fire up England fans with World Cup halftime performance
British singer Ellie Goulding will perform at halftime during England's FIFA World Cup 2026 quarter-final against Norway, backing the Three Lions ahead of their biggest match of the tournament so far.
The Love Me Like You Do singer announced the news on social media, saying she was excited to perform at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami while expressing confidence in England's chances of reaching the semi-finals.

Sharing photos in an England jersey, Goulding wrote:
"Performing at the @fifaworldcup quarter final for England vs Norway has me feeling like truly anything could happen..."
She followed it up with a patriotic message for Thomas Tuchel's side.
"I already know the boys will make England proud, it's coming home."
England vs Norway decisive for semi-final place
England take on Norway at Hard Rock Stadium on Saturday, with a place in the FIFA World Cup 2026 semi-finals on the line.
The winners will face either Argentina or Switzerland in the last four, while France have already secured their place in the semi-finals.
FIFA World Cup embraces halftime entertainment
This year's tournament is the first FIFA World Cup to feature halftime entertainment during selected knockout matches, with Goulding joining a growing list of performers appearing throughout the competition.
The tournament will culminate with the first-ever FIFA World Cup final halftime show on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
Curated by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, the final will feature performances from Justin Bieber, BTS, Madonna and Shakira, alongside several special guests, with the show supporting the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.
