The six-time Premier League winner Kevin De Bruyne has revealed that he will bring his 10-year tenure at Manchester City to a close after the 2024-2025 season, ending a stellar decade with the club. In a heartfelt social media post on Friday, De Bruyne made his announcement.

De Bruyne signed with Manchester City from Wolfsburg in 2015 for a then-record club transfer of £55 million. Throughout his decade-long stint, he featured in 413 games, netted 106 goals, and delivered 174 assists. His influence was vital in helping the club win six Premier League crowns, two FA Cups, five League Cups, and the Champions League.

In his post, De Bruyne said, "Dear Manchester, seeing this, you probably realise where this is heading. So I'll get straight to it and let you all know that these will be my final months as a Manchester City player.” He also showed his appreciation to the club by stating, “This city. This club. These people... gave me EVERYTHING. I had no choice but to give EVERYTHING back! And guess what, we won EVERYTHING.”
