Arsenal ended their winless streak with a dramatic victory over Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday (February 18).

Despite trailing twice in the match, the Gunners came back to level terms, and then snatched a late winner courtesy of a terrific strike from new signing Jorginho. The icing on the cake was a fourth goal as Gabriel Martinelli ran through and scored in an empty net following a turnover in possession from a Villa corner.

Arsenal left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko scored his first goal for the club. From a corner, the Ukrainian was teed by Martin Odegaard, and he struck a venomous shot to score a goal. This was not only Zinchenko's first goal for Arsenal, but his first goal in the Premier League as well.

The former Manchester City player got his first league goal on his 92nd appearance, but didn't make any considerable celebration. After scoring the goal, he ran back straight to the centre pitch to restart the proceedings once again.

And after the match, the defender explained the reason for not celebrating after the goal.

"It was 2-2 and we wanted to score another one, so there was no time for celebrations. I'm so happy to help the team, but for me, the three points were the priority," Zinchenko said after the victory.

"It was so important for us to be back on track. It's not just about in terms of points and the table. It's about the rhythm and our mood in the dressing room and the training ground. We just need to keep fighting until the very end," he added.

The Ukraine international has been a pivotal part of the Arsenal squad this season. His overall play and his leadership skills have quite vividly galvanized the young Arsenal squad. The Gunners sit at the summit of the Premier League table as their win means they are two points ahead of Manchester City, who were held by Nottingham Forest.
